Delay Pedals on Record

I'm trying to understand more uses of delay with bass. Do you guys know of any other tracks than these:
"The Carpenter and the Dainty Bride" by Primus
"No Shelter" by Rage Against The Machine
"Our Swords" by Band of Horses
"Wild Boys" Duran Duran

If you guys know which pedals these guys are using the record, that's fun information as well.

Pedals? I seriously doubt it. Rack effects are usually used in the studio because they can do more, sound better and don't cause noise to the same extent as pedals. Live is different- it's not as much of a controlled environment.

I would have to agree. In the studio you also have the benefit of adding the effect post mic (if an amp is used) and post DI as well. Prevailing wisdom for years has been to add time domain effects like reverb and delay after the fact during mixdown. If you record the bass through a delay it is forever on there and can't be changed or adjusted unless you record a new track. If there isn't enough or too much it can't be fixed.
