Hi I've been looking to get a new comp. I was looking at the standard Demeter Compulator and came across the new pro model.

Has anybody tried the new Demeter Compro-1 ?

I saw one for sale on eBay a couple months ago and came to TB to see that somebody else had seen it too and started a thread on it, but at that time there was NO other info about it on the web, let along on the Demeter site so I wasn't sure if it was legit or not.

It's a pretty penny but I'd really like to try one out.

Looks very cool but yeah... $309 in the Demeter store. Looking forward to hearing how it compares to its little brother.

I think I'll wait on this one..

... simply cos if the new one is good - it'll mean we'll see a whole lotta Demeter in the classified's - bit like all the MicroPOG's of late.

The Demeter's got a lot more competitors in its price range now that I would go for aside from the EBS, namely the Markbass and the FEA Labs creations, than it did when I first bought my COMP-1 back in November of last year. That said, this thing looks pretty sweet, and I would love to give it a run.
