I've sent email to Demeter asking the benefit of using 12V to Compulator.
The reply was
As long as it is a regulated supply it should be fine.
So, is there no benefit using 12V?
Probably not. The only devices that "benefit" from over voltage are gain devices. While the compressor is a gain device, doesn't sound like there will be much audible difference.
