Demeter Compulator Problem!! Help plz!!

Sign in to disble this ad
You guys using it with internal 9v battery or external DC 3.5mm plug?

I using it for half year with the internal 9v battery, is works great but I always forget unplugging the jack so it used me a lot of battery....
I changed to use external DC with 3.5mm plug but it makes NOISE.... huge noise...

is this my pedal problem? or all of the demeter compulators are noisy?

Thanks.

It should not be a huge amount of noise, but I did find that mine was quieter with a battery than it was with an external supply. It the supply you are using regulated, and what is its mA rating?

300mA is fine; the supply should have the word "regulated" printed/stamped on it somewhere if it is regulated.

I've had no noise issues with mine using a one spot and my house's wiring is definitely prone to noise.

I think Bongo is right...you may be using an unregulated supply with it. I use a "regulated" PS with my Demeter Compulator and have no noise issues at all.
