Demeter Compulator signal pass thru failure

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys it has really been pissing me off when i bought my demeter compulators 1 month ago, i like it very much. But the problem is, when the compressor is engage "ON" sometimes my circuit signal was totally cut or sometimes it works fine [luck? wth no way thats gonna happen].Totally cut meaning there is no sound coming out from the amp, its not because of the volume knob on the compressor. when theres no sound i dis-engaged the effects and i get a "BOOM" sound from my amp after that its on bypass and the sound is back. I've no idea its due to faulty of the effects or any doubts. I'm using a 1spot 9V 1700mA power supply btw.

hope someone can help me out with this. i doubt its my cables, if so when i dis-engaged the compressor there might not even have current passing thru.

Sounds like a bad switch or a bad connection to the power supply. Check for loose contacts (by wiggling wires and dis/engaging switch repeatedly) or send it to Demeter or the vendor for repair/replacement.

I've open it up and checked the wirings, realised that its the wiring connection from the AC supply to the chip. think i have to approach the vendor in my local store to dicuss with them about it. thanks anyway cheers!

Interesting, I have exactly the same problem with mine, but it doesn't bother me as I never turn it off...
