What words would you use to describe the tone in the bass solo (around 1:35)? Fat, warm, thick?

And what would be your go-to pedal for that kind of sound?

I love it, can't stop listening to it.

It just sounds like an SVT or similar tube head being driven fairly hard, but I could be wrong.
