Devi Ever Legend of Fuzz - Should I Get It?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a dilemma. Zelda was my total love it most favorite awesomest game as a kid. So I have a very strong desire to get the Legend of Fuzz pedal simply for the enclosure graphics.

However, I already own a Bass Big Muff, Russian Big Muff, 5:00 Fuzz (Muff clone), DOD 250, Boss ODB-3, and a Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler.

Is the Legend of Fuzz a redundancy of the stuff I already own? It seemed kinda close to the Frazz Dazzler, but I can never tell from online samples.

I've never played the Frazz Dazzler, but I can tell you that the Legend of Fuzz doesn't sound anything like any of the others. The LOF is extremely gated and grindy. Fantastic fuzz.

awesome fuzz as stated before, im only getting rid of mine b/c im all set in regards to fuzz. If you decide to get it then by all means Im selling one in the classifieds (check my sig). its very gated and can get very synthy and aggressive (not for the tame-hearted!)

i personally think its a good bit different than the fuzzes currently on your board. it wont be hard to resell, at minimal loss, if you decide you don't like it.

I figured the closest thing I have is the Frazz Dazzler, which is super gated, but I don't know that I'd classify it as a 'fuzz' per se. The Frazz Dazzler can definitely do the zippery-gated-dirt thing, but I guess from what you guys are saying it's not the same type of zippery-gated-dirt as the 'Dazzler?

It looses lows quite a bit but in a blender it's pretty cool. Although I prefer the blended Ruiner... for stand alone Devi effects I like the Karioke Party overdrive...it does not loose low end and adds a certain Deviever mid bump. (Ruiner doesn't loose much low end but it's wacky attack and sputter is tamed a bit when blended)

I disagree, I didn't get any low-end loss with the LOF.
