Flea, I am assuming that you want to know about the DHA pedals.
I have a VT-1 Std and I love it. It is responsive to attack and other changes to playing dynamics. I also love how it effectively has two distortion controls. The normal gain and the input pad. The gain control provides nice tube overdrive. Overloading the input returns a kind of distortion that sputters like your amp is about to break. All this sounds like it is simply layered on your bass signal so the bottom is intact. |

Yes, there are pedals on the bassdirect and Vanquish guitars/E basses stands. The bassdirect stand also have the VT5-400-bass amp which has been very well received so far. Its an all valve pre-amp with valve compressor, valve Fx loop and 2-3W valve output stage that then feeds a Class D 400W solid state amp.
I was there yesterday, maybe we met? I will be there again on Sunday if anyone would like to chat.
We have our own stand at bassday in Manchester next Sunday. I will be giving the amp to it's new owner there.

But I still have to search for a good setting to let it rip and snarl

Edit: Dave just called me up to work out what might have happened with this unit, and we've figured out some plausible things I should test before (or possibly instead of) sending it back. Big thumbs up to Dave for personal attention to the customer!
