Question DHA VT1 EQ question

Sign in to disble this ad
Do any past/present users of this pedal know if it can be used as a pre driving a poweramp,
specifically a QSC USA850,
and can it provide a nice clean tone and still produce good output?

Thanks.

yes. really good. depends on what you mean by "clean" though. It does the SVT thing pretty darn good.

By clean I mean a clean tube amp tone, not ss clean. Basically I want a warm tone with a hint of grit when you dig in at its cleanest setting.

Yep - it'll do that.

For really low gain settings - you can also enable the "boost" part of the circuit to taste, to drive the preamp louder, without necessarily being dirtier.

That said, it can do dirty pretty well.

Yeah, the "boost" setting is an insanely strong clean boost, capable of driving most power amps without the whole effect being obviously distorted.
