i never tried one but was seriously considering it, all the info i can find to it claims to have a massive low end, and the mid-boost switch looks great for that 'one louder' boost, however im almost always dissappointed by pedals that boast about their low end retention, but in truth the low end response is geared to guitar and on bass just sounds aweful.

If someone has tried this, i'd be keen to know their opinion

initial view is very positive.

the mid-boost switch is of no use.

however without this engaged using a Precision, Flats, Valve Amp and 15" speakers it's bottom end sure, with some nice dirt.

goes OK pick style too.

found it less effective with an active MTD 5 into S/S Amp

overall I'm liking the fireburst.
