Diamond J Drive (Mk3) with Bass

I was curious as to how many have actually tried out this combo. I've searched this forum for relevant answers, but haven't really found any. Right now, I'm trying to find effects that work well for bass, regardless of what instrument they were originally made for. Thanks!

Review.

A bit rambling. The short version was the warmth control lets you keep most of your lows/low mids, but there's some loss. Generally, its a nice combo overdrive/boost. Well made and worth the price in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. It's very informative! I actually have the pedal here, and was trying to test it out before buying. Right after I put this thread up, I tested it through headphones and found it sounded very good, with the characteristics you had described. I love the drive at moderate levels, but the boost... it makes my bass (at least through headphones) come alive! I think I'll keep this as my first real bass drive.
