I waould've gone higher but it would've been stupid considering I'm on a "2 month" long waiting list to get one for 475$, would've been nice to get it sooner though. I would buy two if I could get them for 300$!

Am I missing something, or can't you get it from custom sounds for less than 400? Or is that like a crazy wait?

The price is getting a bit much, but I have to admit, they are the dogs nuts. Hang in there with your 2 month wait (would't be surprised if its longer though), you won't be dissapointed with it!

Out of interest, have you paid anything yet?

If I were you I would just continue to bid on the bay for $475 until you win. At least you get it sooner.

The auction is already over, I know I'll be able to get one eventually for 475$ anyways so why spend more?

Now I play the waiting game so the winner will reveal his identity here...then I'll have to go break his shins with a bat.

meh, it's a nice pedal. I would never pay $475 for it though (and there are some that I would). The builder just has an amazing reputation for quality, and now the dollar sucks.

Meh, I'd rather get it now when it costs 475 then later when it may be around 550. And I totally agree with both your comments. BJF stuff is a little overpriced but they are also one a kind pedals that sound great, they aren't for everyone but I'm willing to justify 475.

I think the Blueberry has gone up a bit and the US dollar has gone down a bit making for a larger increase in Blueberry prices. Custom sounds charge in Euro Dollars

I got mine for $200 this christmas off Adam Barkley. The paint wasn't in the best condition and the switch was a little dodgy, but I've been told I can send it to Bjorn and he'll service it for me for $30 (that's a new switch AND a repaint).

Love mine. Won't sell it unless forced to by loss of job. Would not pay $475 for another. I agree with grFgrUgrZgrZ that you can blame the crappy USD for that price.

For that kind of money you could easily get an old low watt tube head and turn your tweeter down, which is essentially what the Blue Berry does, albeit in a convenient pedal-like format.
