And I totally agree with both your comments. BJF stuff is a little overpriced but they are also one a kind pedals that sound great, they aren't for everyone but I'm willing to justify 475.

Custom sounds charge in Euro Dollars

For that kind of money you could easily get an old low watt tube head and turn your tweeter down, which is essentially what the Blue Berry does, albeit in a convenient pedal-like format.
