Did something stupid that turned out good

Went to GC yesterday and picked up a MXR Auto Q. Bought it without trying it because I had heard good reviews and I was in a rush. Anyways, got it home and tried it. It sounded like crap. No low end at all. Then I realized that number on the side of the box didn't look right. Ahhh, I bought the guitar version. So, I took it back today and sitting on the shelf was a barely touched used H2O Liquid Chorus Echo, the original discontinued one. So I picked that up and put in an order for the correct MXR pedal. I've been a digital fan for awhile, but now I really like my analog pedals (some are digital, but at least they're physical).

Oh, and I agree with one of the signatures that I've seen "Talkbass *is* my most expensive piece of equipment."

Time to clean out the unused pedals that I've collected over the years....

Need to look through the boxes to see what I have. I'll try to put some things up on the For Sale board this week. Some of them will probably just go to eBay since they're guitar oriented, like a Keeley modded Metal Zone. Sounds good on guitar, but I haven't touched my guitar in a year.
