I got a BP200 multi effect and I am a bit confused about plugging it in the amp and stil be able to control the amp volume on the amp itself.Do I use Send ,Recieve, or how do I hook up for more control?
pedal out to recieve and line out to pedal and bass into the imput jack on amp? or bass into pedal and pedal line out into send or recieve on amp.A couple of ways work but what is proper?Seems that all controls on amp can not be used with effects pedal or I am doing something way wrong.I am sure some one can help. I got a Hartke Hydrive 115 and a Marshall 30 practice amp.

You could either use it as a standard FX pedal or you could use it as a Preamp. Personally, I didn't like the amp modeling on the pedal so I just stuck it in my loop and used the compressor/chorus/envelope.

Just keep things simple and plug your bass into the BP200 and then into the input of your amp, this will give you the full functionality of both. .
