Difference between Boss TU-2 and TU-3?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently bought a TU-3 for a new board I'm building and wanted opinions on this pedal tuner.

I've owned the Korg pitchblack, strobostomp, TU-2, Hardwire, and other assorted chromatic tuners.

Does it track easily on detuned basses? Decent bypass? (as good as any boss pedal can be, I suppose)

Thanks.

On first glance it looks (nearly) exactly the same, feature wise, etc. As for most of the features they list on the TU-3, I've never even desired to use on the TU-2 so I couldn't realize it was something I wanted. Everything that I do use on my TU-2 seems present on the 3, with a very slightly revamped look. I've got no gripes though since they just kept the price steady, in the case I'd want to grab another.
