Difference between CEB-3 and CH-1 chorus?

Sign in to disble this ad
Well i wanna buy my first chorus pedal and CEB-3 is the one im most interested in. Then theres the CH-1 tho which is about $40 cheaper.

So pretty much is there much difference in qaulity wise? i know they have different controls too, so which would be more versatile or easier to use?

And one last thing iv notice that that the CH-1 is a guitar chorus also?

I just sold my CEB-3 becasue it was too subtle for my liking. One thing it does have going for it is that it doesn't 'muddy' the lows becasue of the 'Low Filter' control. I recommend trying them both before pulling the trigger

I like my CEB-3; YMMV.

I did not like the ceb-3. Too cold and sterile for me. I loved the ce-2, it's very warm but nod muddy at all.

It would be awesome if someone qualified to answer the question actually did answer the question- I say this as I'm curious as to the diffs between these two. On that note:

*Quality*, I would assume, would be excellent, as has been my experience w/Boss products.
Agreed on the CEB-3's being subtle.

I heard some good things about EHX's Small Clone, and it's cheaper than the CEB-3.
