Digitech Bass Synth Wah Octaver?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have been messing around with my bsw and i can't find many usingful settings. How can I get a normal octaver (EBS OctaBass) out of my bsw. What settings? Also, if anyone has found a useful synth tone (Jamiroquai - journey to arnhemland), what settings do you use. Thanks in advance

P.S. - I looked at other threads where people listed their settings but the people that used it as an octaver didn't list their settings.

Thanks in advance!

I don't remember exactly but I think it's setting 7 (if not try setting 2), roll off the filter and the other knob should give you a volume for the octave.

Setting 2 is sub-envelope.

Setting 7 is sub. You need to play around with the other controls on the pedal to get the sound you're looking for. There is a sub-synth setting on there as well.

OK, you need setting 7.

Sens doesn't matter too much

Then Control on maximum

Range on minimum

I think that is right. If you are just getting the synthy sound and no octave, try Control on minimum and Range on maximum

+1. For the most part, the 'control' knob governs the amount of the effect, and the 'range' governs the envelope.

Basically, turn the control knob up until you get the amount of octave you want-- all octave and no original, half and half, etc., and the range on minimum, to cut out the filter sound.

I run my BSW at...

0 2 0 7

(Hope that makes sense!).

If you want more 'octave' turn up the '2'.... Job done.
