| Digitech Bass Synth Wah vs. EH Micro Synth vs. ? live

I currently play in a Hip Hop, Reggae, Pop band and would like to find a pedal to approximate vintage Moog sounds and contemporary keyboard bass sounds.
At the moment I'm using a Boss OC-2 for a lower octave into a DOD FX25 for dubby subharmonic sounds. When I'm playing at home through a practice amp the combination of those pedals does a really nice analog synth bass approximation a la Stevie Wonder. Live, at stage volume the FX25 is a speaker's worst nightmare. The volume is so dramatic when the filter opens that it's unusable in that application. I've tried a compressor after the FX25 but I have a hard time with compressors.
I had a BSW a few years ago and sold it because I couldn't find an application in my band at the time (especially after I bought an OC-2). But I've read posts here from regulars who seem to think the filter and synth sounds are high quality, and the BSW is cheap, small, and easy to power. Good for club shows. The EH Bass Micro Synth sounds amazing and is super cool, but it seems awkward and possibly more fragile than the BSW. Plus it powers differently from my other pedals, which run on 9volts. Does anyone have advice to get hip synth sounds live? I'd even be interested in checking out an additional filter that doesn't get so wild.
