Oh no..
After spending 300 Euros on this bad boy I hope the joy isn't over that soon!
I've had it for about a week, and today I noticed that it makes some unpleasant digital noise when rocking for and backwards the pedal. It isn't loud, but noticeable. Most of all it is noticeable in the 1 oct. up setting...
Oh please.. how I hope, that it isn't fried yet..
Maybe someone could tell me if he had the same experience with his Bass Whammy.
1000 thanks!
greetings

Something that sounds like alien space ships taking off?

Yess, man. Exactly! Like alien space ships...
When rocking faster and playing, it isn't that audible, but when I let a note sustain and then slowly rock up and down I can hear it..

Can you record a sample of it?

The Whammy (in general) is not known for perfection - its true charm is in its flaws.

Can you record a sample of it? | It was some kind of wobbly digital pitch shifting, not an tracking issue, but it was kinda worrying cause it was quite loud..
I don't know why, but today I don't hear anything of that noise. Seems like everything is alright.
I'm assured now that I heard that it does have its freak outs sometimes...
Thanks for your input, guys!

I've got a Zoom box that also makes some 'strange digital noise' in the background.
Hey....it's a whammy! It's supposed to sound strange!

You need to play with the volume knob on the BW to find the sweet spot. Right before that red light flickers. You also want the Bass whammy first in the chain. |

I will try fiddling with the volume knob a little, but I think it is already set as you described. It is second in my chain, so I will try that.
