This thread is dedicated for those who own a digitech bp355. if you own a digitech bp355 and have some patch ideas you would like to share, this thread is for you. I figure since there's a thread on patch ideas on the zoom b2.1u here, why not do the same for the digitech bp355. here are some of my patch ideas.

(reserved) i also just got mine so far so good but 1 thing dislike is the way you navigate through patches, i mean the UP and DOWN style is so antiquated.....im hoping theyre not planning on following the RP line and releasing a BP500 or BP1000 with all the same feature/functions as our BP355s except with the more intuitivre switching system, UP, DOWN, + A,B,C,D....any opinions/input/TIPS on how to arrange patches for easy acces? right now i have to keep a whammy patch every 4th patch so i can get to it quickly, but im finding myself also needing a "grind" tone every few as well to keep 1 close by....

ill be back with some patches thanks Crystalman85 for starting this thread and updating the community with the earliest sound samples i could find on the net

Have you tried putting your main patch/amp sounds on channel A and then the same patch with the added whammy on channel B? then you could just push one button instead of scrolling. Hope this helps,

thanks bret but unfortunately the A/B only seems to switch between amp modal EQ settings-FX and other parameters are unaffected

Really? That's a bummer. There is a great demo on youtube of the RP355 where the user does just that. One patch has the amp sim and eq then channel B has the same thing except with delay added. Bummer if Digitech didn't do that with the bass version.

just watched the RP355 demo vid again on youtube YouTube - Digitech RP355 Multi Effects Pedal Instructional and he states he is changing the amp models and am# EQ settings with the A/B switch, he doesn add any F/X just gain....the delay you can hear in the A channel is still present on the B channel....too bad though, maybe a patch/update could clean that feature up to do what you described....not holding my breath though...

That is exactly what I do with my main patch. I run a fat clean compressed signal on A then B is the same setting except with an amp sim on it to create a light grind. I do it this way because the distortion sounds are just trash, I go with the Amp sim and a high gain through the amp eq or the Comp. It has worked for me so far. It is true that you cant do this with effects sounds which it weird but you could program the the expression pedal to do a wet/dry function and just leave it dry until needed.

I know what you mean, dude. it took me a while to find my sounds on the digitech bp355. eventually I did created my sounds and everything sounded pretty cool. so take your time to find your sounds on the digitech bp355 and if you have some patch ideas, feel free to share it here.

Here's a patch idea I've recently came up with. this patch duplicates the heavy grind sound of a tech 21 xxl bass edition distortion pedal.

Got a real cool sequencer tone. Think 80's synth bands on this one.

FX25 with blend at 99 sens at 70 range 70

reverb go amb with all choices up

Now...go to expdl and switch to LFO1 and link it to postvol

go to wave and change to square
The freq of the LFO controls the tempo so experiment with the it. around 6 or 7 gives you the sixteenth note like sound.
You have to pratice your timing but once you get the hang it is a very cool tone and could easily be used in a song.

The only drawback is it doesnt work with the looper. Had a cool tune mapped out then went to use the "sequencer" as the bassline and when I changed patches the LFO kicked off.
