I purchased this pedal for one reason, a muted tuner.

The reason being, most decent tuner pedals were costing about the same price, so I thought throwing in a couple of bucks more and get BP 50 with the Amp modeler.

Let me say, I was impressed with the Amp modeling on this device, the noise gate is nice as well and don't forget the muted tuner.

I bought it a few years ago-mostly for the drum patterns.I play with it once in a while, some cool affects to jam out with but mostly I use it as a novelty.I just dont have the patience to tweak the sounds.I actually was considering giving it to a good home since I have since bought a drum machine.

Let me say, I do not use the actual "effects" per se.

I switched all the presets to the Amp Modeling for different sounds. I hate effects pedals that are more problems than they are worth.

Back in the day, I bought the BP200 and was not a fan, but like I said, I was looking for a tuner and this was the about the same price and I as surprised at the amp feature which I thought would be useful especially when switching from different style songs.

Yeah, I thought changing all the preset effects to the amps b/c depending what type of room might determine in the sound.

So I might use bypass until I get to a Kiss song like Detroit Rock City and then throw it into the Mesa-boogie amp and get a little more low-end growl.

Effect 1 is the Ampeg SVT, which sounds pretty good ( I usually move the effect to about 5 or 6).

I basically sat down last night and played the same lick over and over switching amps and marked the ones I liked and made them presets.
