Question Digitech BP8

Anyone ever use one of these? I have one that is out of commission right now. I've been thinking about getting another one and scrapping my old one. What are y'alls thoughts?

I used to have one but, believe it or not I lost it. I don't know how you loose something that big. I think I left it at a gig out of town. I always thought it was sweet. The only multi-fx pedal I'll ever condone using. Not the best for really anything, but I thought it was great for practicing. I'd just play with that thing and headphones for hours. If you get a good price, snag one.

I've got one, never use it anymore though the chorus, delay and compressor are quite good. It had a bad hiss with my SWR head, but is noiseless through my Carvin.

I still use mine quite a bit, IMO there are some things it does that are hard to beat for especially the price they go for, I see them for 100 bucks or so.

I have the BP200. I like it for home recording, and as a silent amp for practice. But I dont use it live, since it doesnt play well with my "main" pedals. I think that Digitech Multi-processors are worth having, as long as you realize what their limitations are.

The thing that sets this unit apart from most of the current multi-fx units is that is has a genuine valve, and an analog compressor that is highly adjustable. Just the tube preamp and the compressor make it an excellent device, IMHO. I find the effects to run about 50/50, usable/useless.
