Is the Digitech BSW octave-down polyphonic?

Sign in to disble this ad
I did a search, and came up with one thread that said no, and another that said it was able to track double stops... And a lot of threads which stated generically that digital octavers are usually polyphonic...

So which is true???

I can't wait for it to arrive!

Steve

To the best of my knowledge, no. When I try to play double-stops/chords it gets really randomly glitchy/warbly, which could be good in the proper context, but not for what I need. That said, I think it sounds really good, and I like the synth modes as well, though others may disagree. It's a great octave, though, on a budget.

Yeah, I thought as much. Thanks for clarifying.

However, given that my main bass is a 12 string, I'm not too worried about the octave feature anyway. Except on my fretless maybe.

Cheers,
Steve
