If someone could record a clip of BSW's octave sound soloed (= direct sound muted) I would be very happy.

I could do it but not for another couple of weeks...

I'll leave it to someone else.

Can you actually have only the octave sound? I thought there's only a control for the octave volume.

Can someone confirm this?

I think the control is a blend, so turn it to the right and you get 100% octave down. There's also 2 output jacks, and the wet output only outputs a signal when the effect is turned on and it's just the effected output, i.e. the octave down. I'm a bit busy at the moment but will put a clip up sometime this week if nobody else does it before me.

The control is octave down volume, not a blend. I think however, that if you use both outputs you get clean sound through one and effected through the other. I assumed that you would just get the octave down through one, but I'm not sure as I don't have mine to play with.

I don't think there's an octave knob. Direct, Control, and Sensitivity. Then there's the knob for the different channels. I have an OC2 pedal for octave. Perhaps if you play with some of the sub synth settings you can get what you're talking about. What sound are you specifically looking to get?

Put it on mode 7, Octasub. Turn Sensitivity and Range knobs all the way down otherwise you'll get a filter kicking in, then the control knob adjusts octave volume or blend (I thought it was blend but others disagree, I'll check out later). Hey presto, you have an octave pedal!

OK, I just checked this out with my BSW. The effect out has the original octave as well as the octave down, and the dry out only has the original signal.

So it isn't possible to get a clip of just the octave down. If you want I can do you a clip with the octave up in as well, but I'm guess you have heard those.
