I'm not a big pedal user but, I've been offered a good deal on a DigiTech Crossroads Eric Clapton pedal. I was just wondering how well would this work for bass.

my dad's got one he is a guitar player I've used it on bass and it sounds pretty cool there is an obvious bottom end loss but it got a pretty leslie simulation and some good overdrives

It pretty much sucks even for guitar IMO, so I think you're better off saving your cash for something else.
