yeah i used to use one. it was actually more annoying than anything else if im being honist. it really wasnt practical. the problem was it was sooo hard to turn on. it was like starting up a jumbo jet and it you just wanted the the effect with clean you had to jump on the pedal just to get it on.

im sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear

I had this pedal for a while and although it does many things, I didn't feel it did any one thing particularly well.

The distortion always seemed to be there as almost an afterthought and wasn't very tweakable - at least not easily.

You also have to use the supplied AC wall wart power supply, and it's quite a big pedal too. If memory serves me correct the whammy mode also had a slight time lag, so that when I was playing through it without pushing the pedal to raise the pitch any, the clean 'un-effected' signal had a nano second delay between what my hands were playing and what was coming through the amp-slightly annoying!

Like any pedal that does many things and indeed all the Digitech 'Factory' effects (I've had them all) I think that they are a great way to learn which sounds / real versions of the pedals they model would ultimately be the best for you - sorta like how a multi effects unit is a great way into discovering effects and which you like so much so you can later buy a singular, dedicated and better equipped unit....

yerp. a big THPPPPPBBBBBTTTtttttt from me. wall wart sucks, all the efx on it suck ('cept for the pitch glide. whammy-style efx are all i liked on it). it's a cool idea, but SO much better options in single pedals out there, and get an M5 or an M9 if you want a multi box.

imo, ime all that.

My opinion is less negative than other people on this one, but I definitely did not dig the distortion in it. I liked the Whammy, Space Station and Univibe modes on it. The wall wart isn't as big of a deal for me, since I have a power strip wired up inside my pedalboard.
