Hey all, I just got one of these and I figured I would let you all know what to expect out of one. I'll make a review later.
I got this one used on Ebay. Brand new they cost about $399 bucks. but I see them go for a little over a Hundred on a regular basis on Ebay. It had been used for a few years before I got it, but it is pretty clean. All of the knobs and buttons still work. Sturdy metal casing.
It is a pretty cool pedal. I think most might think this is a guitar pedal, but it has Bass amp/cab models built into it also.
I have had it about a week now and have set up some preset models that I can switch between on the fly.
I do not believe the amp/cab models are going to sound precisely like the originals, but the amp/cab variations I have played with have been quite diverse.
If you want to know what a HiWatt 100 sounds like through a 4x12 Fane cabinet it is here, but have you ever heard a HiWatt 100 through an Acoustic 360? It sounds pretty good. Ever heard a Marshall 900 through an Ampeg 8x10? Sounds like Geezer on steroids.
I set up a preset of an Ampeg Classic SVT going through a Sunn 2x15 with some Big Muff Pi thrown in. I played this with my Fender P through my GK 2x15RBH rig. The sound was so thunderous I literally thought I might throw up or crap my pants, or maybe both.
It also has a built in tuner.
You can do a lot with this thing. It is like they took every pedal they make, plus a ton of emulated models, and put it in here. You can also use it for recording. It will go straight to the board.
I believe owning a rig with a wide frequency range would be beneficial. I have a ported 2x10 which goes down to 35Hz. I believe this factor helps me get that 18" driver sound a little more efficiently.
Too many features to list.

Our band guitaris has one..I have played around with it and it works really good with bass...I mostly goofed with the delay and a few cabs and the pitch shifter..sounded best to me without the cab sims..

Although it doesn't get the love that a lot of other lines do, Digitech puts out some great modelers.

Remember to try out the Talker feature. The Talker unit from which it comes is one of the better non-tube talk boxes out there, and they're pretty expensive on the secondhand market (>$400).

I can't wait for you to post some clips doing the Roger Troutman/Zapp thing.... *laugh*
