digitech hothead distortion

Just picked one up really cheap. Not bad on bass. Really crunchy and snarly distortion. With the bottom cranked, the top on half, gain just under half and vol at 6, it is very usable, especially with my sb7.

I agree! My 14 year old son was noodling around with my bass earlier today. I broke out a few of my pedals I keep around for when a guitarist drops by. Hot Head was one of them. I got it for a steal from the bay. I dialed in a pretty cool tone while he was playing his Boris the Spider and Ironman riffs! I may have to experiment with it myself. I had a Digitech X Series Bass Distortion awhile back but got rid of it because I didn't like it.
