Digitech Jamman Aux question

Hi

I have a Boss RC-2 looper and it's great but the headphone output option on the digitech is very tempting given my circumstances. Just wondering whether you can use the aux input at the same time as your bass input, i.e. just plug in an ipod and use it as a playalong. They boss rc-2 has an aux input but you can't play along with it because you need to remove the bass input in order to hear it.
Any feedback would be great!
