Digitech pedal Problem?

Sign in to disble this ad
Was wondering have anyone experience the problem on a digitech pedal when they stomp it on and off?

I have no problem when doing my boss pedals. The sound on a digitech pedal is great to me but its just when i stomp on it sometimes it won't switch off unless i do a quick hard stomp then it disengage it.

Sounds like you have a bad switch. If it's under warrenty, get it fixed. If it's not, you're probably not out a ton of money.

It's absolutely a switch problem - in an issue of Guitar Player, the reviewer ran into the same issue.

This is why, BTW, I don't use Digitech pedals....they sound great and have a ton of features for the money, but the construction and reliability are too crappy for gig use.

I wouldn't say they're unreliable. But their QA (in my opinion) wasn't all that great when the X-series pedals came out. The ones that were good were very good, but there were a couple of bad apples.
I use Digitech pedals with confidence onstage all the time. The MultiChorus and the Bass Synth/Wah come to mind. Both are wonderful pedals.
