Digitech RP200 (not BP200) for Bass Delay

I don't really use any effects with my bass, but I've decided that I would like a little bit of delay now and then. The thought just occurred to me that maybe I could try to get by for now with the delay effect on my Digitech RP200 guitar processor.

Does anyone know if that would work OK or if the fact that it's a guitar processor means it'll have some built-in low end roll-off? I'll get around to trying it eventually, but I'm just curious if anyone has any thoughts...
