Digitech Whammy, and DIGI BASS WHAMMY ERGG

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, so Im out shopping for a whammy. I tell the music store I want a whammy for my bass. They claim I can use the same RED DIGITECH WHAMMY for my bass. So after doing more homework I realize that there is a DIGITECH BASS WHAMMY...ergg

Has anyone tried both, and noticed a huge difference besides price? I have the RED DIGITECH WHAMMY, but not sure if I should bring it back or not.

Look at this page alone and you will be reading for at least an hour or more. Short and simple - bass whammy is out of production, expensive, and rare; whammy 4 is great on guitar and par to subpar depending on who you ask on bass.

Unless you want to spend 600 or more, youll have to get a regular whammy, look on this page for whammy mods, a company called molten voltage mods regular whammys to add some of the settings the bass whammy had that the wh4 does not.
