Hi, I have just recieved an ebay purchased Whammy IV in the post today, it came with a power supply which got smashed up in the post

So I was wondering if I could use my One Spot power adapter to power it? I have the L6 adapter, will that work?

I'm at work at the moment & only have a couple of hours to play with this tonight before I go on holiday so would appricaite the help to save me some playing time this evening!

Nope. The Whammy requires 1300ma AC power not DC

Thanks for your help, I've found a Uk one that costs £12, Hopefully the seller of the whammy will refund me a bit of my payment after their shoddy packaging efforts

Just got off the phone from GAK.co.uk & they charge £25 for the 9V AC 1300mA

At least you found one I had to make a ghetto adaptor and shop around for about a year...

9V AC 1300ma seems to be a hard adaptor to come across here in Aus. I ended up with a 2200ma, but man it took some patience. Even then, it took another TBer to post that they had found me one.. (thanks iccarus!!)

As I said earlier, you could get away with say 1 amp (1000ma), but IMO you should just get the right one.
