Direct recording : SansAmp vs. Line 6 gear

I just wondered who experienced with both SansAmp (RBI, BDDI or whatever else) and Line 6 (BassPod, direct out of LowDown amps, etc.) products for direct recording and your opinion on the result. Which was better, less noisy, etc.

i like the tone of sansamp a little better than line 6. however, line 6 has made great strides between their first stuff and their latest stuff, and i think both are quite usable these days. but i still prefer sansamp.
