Dirk Lance inspired fuzz rig

Alright, I've already made a thread about this, but I have another question. The basic idea of this fuzz rig is to take an EQ and a Big Muff and put them in a clean blend loop. Then cutting all the highs and boosting the hell out of the lows and the mids before they get to the Big Muff. This should keep it as meaty as possible and take out all the brittle and harsh high end. Then blend in some clean highs and lows to further beef up the sound. The new Tone Wicker Muff is perfect for this because I can shut off the tone control on the pedal. Now my question is, should I go with the EQ and fuzz pedal route or just use a pedal that has a 3 band EQ in it? I'm thinking Supercollider. Deep = lows, mids = mids and tone = highs, right? The 2 pedal route would give me more control, but it might be too complicated. The Supercollider with the tone rolled all the way off, with the mids and deep cranked blended with some clean should be pretty damn gnarly. What would you do?

I ran a Boss GEB-7 after a BMP for a while and it was pretty much awesome. Stick that in a clean blend and I'd say you're golden. I feel like your approach will yield a lot of mud though, so consider playing EQ post muff like I did.

Why put it after? I want to control what goes in, not what comes out.

EDIT: Or should I just Graphic Fuzz in a clean blend loop?
