I would go ts, pe, mast. Or pe, mast, ts. No matter what, your ts is going to chop low end out. Each pedal eqs differently stacked and independently.

I like to go by intensity of dirt, so my light overdrive goes first, into the Source Audio MWBDP (which is set for more synth than grit) , through the fuzzes and finally into the WMD, which is capable of insane amounts of dirt.

I...like to reverse the order by intensity (most intense first, least last). Though I only have two dirt pedals at the moment (year4545 and rusty box)

Honestly, whatever sounds best to our individual ears is the right order.

I keep the light stuff first to boost any dirt that comes after it (if needed). Depending on the pedal, this can either be really nice or downright WRONG!

I think it really comes down to if you intend to blend any of the pedals. I use 6 dirt pedals and run them in order of mild through to heavy intensity. Main reason I do it is I often use the milder ones in blend with the heavier so it works to run them first.

Doesn't anyone go by color anymore? I like to go blue, pink, green!

I think going from mild to wild makes sense, however I can't think of an instance where I would blend a lesser into a greater

I actually like to put a lighter overdrive after a heavier fuzz or distortion in order to give it a more "natural" sounding character as opposed to the often harsh and synthetic sounding overtones that heavy fuzz will create. Makes it sound more "organic" to my ears.

It's OD after fuzz for me. Or OD into fuzz into OD. Into fuzz. And delay.

+1 to what Unrepresented said. I use the Xotic Bass BB preamp setted with very low gain (gain at 8 o'clock, lows at 3 o'clock, and highs at 1 o'clock) and volume at unity with the effect off. This pedal is located after a Mxr Classic 108 fuzz, a vintage '87 Rat and a VT Bass. Same reasons as Unrepresented said.

I wish someone would just buy it so I don't have to be in this hot/cold relationship that I have with it!
