"Dirty" envelope filter in The Kids by Jamiroquai?

The filter Zender uses on this track is amazing. I noticed it breaks up and distorts, and the tone is amazing. I have a Boss ME-6B, but the envelope is clean as are most filter. Does anyone know what he used or something like it?

Some people will say it's a synth on his multi effect, but I think it's a Mutron III with sagged voltage causing it to distort.

I agree with you because the multi-effect he used is the Boss ME_6B, the same one I have.
