I had an "old one" and a "new one" and they looked identical to me. Maybe a serial number? Perhaps you could email EMMA and ask them if there is a serial number that marks the change of design.

Wow. Now the new one I can understand, but that was some forethought to put "Old One" on the first version.

Kind of like my cousin introducing his fiance to me preemptively as his "first wife".

(How did you match the font so well? Did you just happen to have the same one?)

Wow, you actually got me there. I fail

Photoshop is my servant, or I'm a servant to it

I do make some of my own fonts from time to time, but I have hundreds on deck to choose from.

Yes. Apparently the earlier models sucked all the bass out. The newer ones were supposedly alot better for bass response, but that's just what I've heard as I've never actually been in a situation to try one!

Yeah, hopefully EMMA can give you a serial number reference because it is a pretty big difference and is very noticeable in a band mix.

I remember thinking the old version was less subtle, though in hindsight I think it was just that by cutting lows the effect seemed more prominent.

In any event, the nice thing about the EMMA not being super wet is that the new version lets you cut through the mix while still adding a bit of funkiness to your tone. With the old one you'd disappear.

i sent an email to Emma about it.
Since also In Many shop it appears to be present the OLD batch (at least checking here on My Land) it can be good To know For Everybody.
I found that information on old/new version just for a coincidence on the net ,by the way.

GOT THE ANSWER FROM EMMA:
Well ...

==He said THERE is Just 1 Version Out ,and he NEVER Did change the model.==

Can't say anything else about.

Maybe components were always the same ,but for some reason they did'nt work as supposed ,
No clue at all (i just heard web-clips),
and i did'nt bother Him as He seemed Quite Firm , In affirming that On the message.

A new Version is gonna to be released ,though :" new filtering color knob, and a level, and it will trigger a little better on high notes".

For respect i don't copy the entire answer i got ; this is essentially the info th. Jan Behncke provided me.
