Discussion for GASing pedalboard + effects for stingrays

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Guys,
have been following TB for weeks and here's my first post. Just hope to get a little discussion about the things i have in mind now.Right now, Im GASing 2 pedalboards one for clean, one for dirty.

Clean:
SBMM Ray34ca -> Korg pb tuner -> MXR bass comp -> EBS dynaverb -> VT bass
Uses: Achieve a nice clean tone; simple jams when im lazy to carry a huge pedal board ard (VT bass can give a decent distortion); instrumental band where i need to slap alot (love marcus miller's slap tone)

Dirty:
MIJ Fender jazz -> Korg tuner -> Bass comp -> LS-2
Loop 1: MXR octave -> big muff
Loop 2: Bass synth wah -> M80 bass di(distortion)
-> DD-3 -> Dynaverb -> VT bass
Uses: To cover muse (blended double dist for hyteria), metellica, slash, GnR, RHCP etc.

Yea smth like that. Also, i would like to ask ard cos i just gotten my SBMM ray. Wat kind of effect does stingray goes well with. Lets just put it into context that i would like to play marcus's stuff with my ray.

Thanks guys. Cheers
