Distortion / Bottom end

I am using a BossMe 20B Multi Effects pedal. I am in need of a distortion setting that has bite and cuts through without losing the bottom end. When I adjust the tone and sustain so the distortion has bite I am losing the bottom end even when I have the lows turned up on the EQ.
I am considering linking a separate distortion pedal to the multi effects pedal so I can boost the low end on my distortion effect.
Any thoughts on how to best accomplish this?

A blend pedal so you can keep your clean signal intact for the low end.

cheapest way will probs be to find a boss ls-2, you can put the distortion pedal in a loop and mix it with clean, lots of low end goodness!

I agree with everyone here. If you like the distortion channels on your boss me-20b and you want more lows to your sound, an effects loop on your amp or a blender pedal like the boss ls-2 line selector would be excellent solution to your needs.

its so much more than a blend pedal to, it awesome!

got mine second hand from a bass chatter for 45 quid!
