Distortion/Overdrive to Blend with my clean tone?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for a distortion/overdrive pedal to blend with my clean tone using a Boss LS-2, just to add a bit more grit to it if i need to, without having to go full blown and kick on my musket.

I was thinking about going with the Red Ripper when it comes out, and just have the synth off most of the time, other than for a few times when i'll go into infinite delay/noise mode in some songs.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Pigtronix Disnortion.

Parallel Overdrive/Fuzz with Octava channel (ring mod octave distortion)

If you're into the red ripper then get that...but my disnortion is pretty slick.

I like the MXR Classic Distortion. It's right in between a heavy overdrive and a light distortion, has more than enough volume, and it retains the low end well.

Has anyone tried the English Muff'n blended with a clean tone?
