This is the bassist from Bongzilla, no?

I'm in Madison for schooling and I think I saw them at the annual legalization festival... I dunno, it was a weird day which I spent chain smoking cigarettes and watching people from the festival and a local anime convention (held half a block away) interact.

Anyway, they're pretty unknown, so you're best off just asking him on myspace

I wouldn't go so far as to say 'fan', but I happen upon them surprisingly often.

Bongzilla has amazing tone but finding out why has been a bit of a problem. I know he uses 2 ampeg heads from looking at vids on you tube. I'd like to know what pedals he uses.

Dixie Dave uses 2 2x15" cabs and two 200w Sunn heads, a Concert Lead from the 70s and a '72 Concert Slave, so each 2x15" has it's own 200w. He turns everything all the way up except the treble is at zero. From his mouth to our ears, Weedeater.

Also love Dixie's tone. I think he uses flatwound strings: http://silaslikesmusic.files.wordpre...eater-live.jpg
Wonder if he uses any effects...

Oh snap I didn't even realize it! I'd bet the resurrector didn't either, I posted at 8am when I rolled into work and I'm usually in a terrible mental state at that time (about useful enough to delete all the new crap in my Inbox and load up Talkbass )
