DIY Fuzz Face Mod

Hey, I'm going to do my first DIY stompbox build, a fuzz face clone. I need to know if there's any modifications such as cap values I can make to make it more suitable for bass. To give you an idea what I'm looking for, I just want a simple fuzz that doesn't lose low end, and doesn't sound like the effect is sitting "on top" of the bass, if that makes any sense. Thanks for any suggestions!

Believe it or not, we've had many threads on that subject! Try searching on "face" with the regular search, or "diy fuzz face" with the Google TB search.

I just used the Google TB search on the exact phrase I suggested, and got 190 hits, most of them relevant.
