DIY pedal daisy power chain

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a question for all the tech gurus on TB.
I want to make a power chain for my DIY pedal board. I've seen the Boss daisy chain cable and I want to make something like that. The issue is that all my pedals, all 9v operation, have different size adapter inputs.
So my question is can I copy that Boss design but just use connections appropriate to my pedals and run the chained effects off of one 9v wall wart?
I'm pretty handy with soldering so it would just be a matter of tracking down the connections and wire at my local Radio Shack and drawing up a diagram.
What do you think?
