Question DIY Red Llama tone control

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello everybody *Hello Dr. Nick!*.
I´m going to build a Red Llama clone this summer, and was wondering what would be the best way to add a tone control. First thing? After the dirt stage? Right at the end? And where would the extra wires go?

Here´s the BMP tone control schem: (the simple one) Beavis Audio Research

And this is the circuit (Red Llama): http://diy.musikding.de/images/stori...lamaschalt.pdf

Thanks in advance, I´ll let you know when I get a third-degree burn!

It's, "Hi, everybody!" "Hi, Dr. Nick!" haha.

Add a tone stack after the board output and you should be good. What extra wires are you talking about?

I meant ground and input+output, but I figured that out by actually looking at the schematics (yeah, genius, I know). Thanks for that, now I´m ready to look at the pile of components in front of me while shaking my head and cursing under my breath.

PS: I watch The Simpsons in Spanish, so I just took a wild guess . Close ´nuff.
