Do batteries drain in true bypass pedals that are 'off'?

Hi, the usual apologies if this has been posted already (couldn't find it - probably because I couldn't think of what to look for exactly!).

I've got a very lovely BBE Opto Stomp and I was wondering: if it's true bypass and I leave the battery in when it's plugged in (but switched off) will it still drain the battery?

Yes--the bypass has nothing to do with the battery usage.
