Do I need an ABY Box?

I have the Line 6 G30 wireless, which I love. It is mounted on my PT mini. My problem is I can't plug a lead in when I want to practice by myself. I want something that I can plug a lead into in case I don't want to use the wireless. I do not want to unplug anything or have to move anything on my board. So, I want a "box" with 2 inputs and one output. Would an aby box work? Active or passive is not a big deal.

Shoot man, you don't even need the Y. Just get an A/B box. EHX switchblade, Boss AB-2, Loopmaster. AB should come in a smaller box and be easier to fit on a board.
