Sign in to disble this ad
Alright guys, I have a SansAmp RBI and i'm running from the sans amp out of that to my pedals, since i end with my pedals do i need to go into a direct box, then go into my power amp which is a PV 1500 or can i just go straight in with the a quart inch from my last pedal into the quarter inch in of the amp?

A DI will do nothing for you in this case

usually it does bass=>effects=>preamp=>power amp

Have you considered using the effects loop in the RBI?

Here's an article that will help you out: http://www.ev-b.com/compfaq.html#pedal
A DI is for sending your signal to the PA mixer. The Sonic Stomp may or may not work fine in the fx loop, give it a try; but for sure you want the RBI main output to go directly to your power amp.

jazzman... on page 6 of the manual for your Sonic Stomp, BBE writes, "The BBE Sonic Stomp can be inserted into an amplifiers effects loop circuit." Will it sound identical? Well I suppose not. How about you try it and post the differences in this thread, if you discern any.
