do you use any pedals (preamps, octaves, light phasers, etc) in your clean, uneffected sound? im talking about the dry sound you use most of the time. preamp, di, compressor, what do you use?

You'll probably find lots of people run a compressor nearly all the time. I have a Demeter Compulator that I rarely turn off.

I just ditched my compressor, so if you count the EBS Microbass II that I use mostly as a splitter (with some slight EQing and level control on the upright), then I have one pedal I run all the time now. If I don't use the upright, though, then I have no pedals on all the time.

I have my Sansamp BDDI switched on constantly so I'm always getting a mild dirtiness to my clean tone. I actually don't keep it with my pedals, I set it on the amp instead since I don't ever need to turn it off

On my big board I use my Demeter Compulator all the time.

On the small board the Tech21 Paradriver is always on.

My DBX 160A is always on and my Barber Launch Pad has had a place in line until I find a delay/fuzz that demands that power supply teet.

That drive is currently my sound for all songs.
Wish I could do the same with a fuzz.
