My guitarist uses a line 6 amp with all the effects built in, so I don't really know if I can do more effect wise, but I bet my pedaltrain pro board with 11 pedals on it looks way cooler (or it will when it arrives tomrrow)

Both my guitarists use a Boss multifx box, so yes and no.

I've got the Line 6 Bass PODXTLive and the guitarist has the latest Vetta(?) and a laptop handy. He wins.

I have more pedals, yes.

I don't use them in the band, though...

Once I get a phaser pedal, I'll have my guitarist beat.

My guitar player is getting a Pod X3 pedal, so he has more available to him, but I use mine more, and I can use more at once than he can (the Pod limits how many simultaneous effects you can use).

Now that we have two geetards they have six pedals between them. 1 x delay, 1 x chorus, 1 phase, 1 flange and 2 dirtbox.

My board is bigger than theirs combined heehee. They love it though because they can both wank while I fill the space.

They both have multi-effects...so no...not really. But they only use the same patches over and over...

I have more effects then both my geetard friends combined, not including my rack unit.

Geetard 1 used marshal 112 combo w/presets
Geetard 2 uses peavey valve king 212 w some presets

I have:
big muff, crybaby, morly wah, phase shifter, compressor, delay then rack multi effects

Every guitarist I've played with has used a multi. So even though I have more pedals they have more sounds available. My sounds are cooler though.

I use a clean sound more often than either of the guitarists in my band do, so I have less effects on my board. I only take to the gig what I'm going to use there.

Same as others... I have a Line6 Bass POD xt Live, so technically, I have more effects available to me (he has about 15 pedals on a pedalboard), but I don't use them in the band.

Oh yea. 3 bands, 4 guitarists and I use more effects than all of them combined.

They were either minimalistic in their choice of effects or just too cheap to buy more.
